The $1b Bank of America Tower, currently under construction in New York. When complete the tower will be the second highest in the city after the Empire State Building. Now I am as bigger fan of skyscrapers as anyone, but it does seem odd that the two largest skyscraper projects in NY this decade- the BoA tower and the New York Times Building both precipitated crises in their respective organisations. If I weren’t such an ardent fan, I might say there is a moral in this story.
