Thinking about Twitter going down got me thinking of that endangered species, the Fail Whale. Alas, thanks to $15m VC funding Twitter no longer has the regular scaling problems. No longer does the whale Robert Scoble bring the feeble, birdlike servers crashing to the floor. Not that I want the Fail Whale back…just that I like the picture.
