» My Daytum
A while ago you may, or may not, remember that I was keeping a record of everything I read, but then stopped. Suffocated by the weight of my own expectations reading because too much of a chore in notching up another quick win on the read pile.
About a month ago I first hada play with Daytum, and decided that the whole life tracking thing was navel gaze too far. However never one to let narcissicism and navel gazing get in the way of anything, I have forged on with both Daytum and my reading record.
Every time I read a book or watch a film I am going to fill this in on Daytum. It will be my new, more informal, less pressurised but nonetheless valuable memory of all the books and films that I would otherwise forget having ever encountered.
This may not be the kind of data Daytum is optimised for. What the heck. We’ll see if it works. Daytum is now officially getting added to the roster of social “meeja shit” at the bottom of the page.
It’s just a slight shame that the first film up happens to Transformers 2. You can’t hide these things.
